Thrilled to share my experiences from the ION ITM 2024 conference! I had the honor of presenting on the topic “Verification and Hardware Implementation of Single-Frequency RTK-Based Precise Relative Navigation for SNUGLITE-III CubeSat.” This presentation extends the discussion from the paper presented at the ION GNSS+ conference last September, focusing on performance verification using real-world data. Excitingly, our research team submitted the results to ION Navigation, and it’s currently under review, showcasing the potential for cm-level relative navigation using a cube satellite with a single-frequency GPS receiver.

A definite highlight was the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of individuals at the conference, especially during the engaging Student Social Event at the ION conference. It provided a platform for insightful interviews with fellow students, enriching my overall experience.

Although my initial plan was to attend ION GNSS+ 2024, unforeseen circumstances led me to participate in IAC 2024 in October. Unfortunately, our team will be divided among labs, and other students will represent us in our meeting with the ION Society. To those attending IAC 2024, I eagerly anticipate connecting at the small satellite-related symposium, where I’ll be presenting my findings.

Great to have met everyone. I hope to see you again next time.
