It was great to be back at The Institute of Navigation’s ION GNSS+ 2026, the world’s largest technical meeting and showcase of GNSS technology, products and services, and to reconnect with so many colleagues and friends in the navigation community.
I presented my work, “Toward an Asteroid-Based Autonomous Navigation Framework for Deep Space CubeSats,” in the E2b: Novel Paradigms in Navigation session, and I was very pleased to receive the Best Presentation Award 👏👏.
It was also a real pleasure to meet Ryan McKnight and Penggao Yan again, this time as the session chairs. I greatly appreciated their interest in my presentation and the discussions that followed, which gave me several useful research insights.
Thanks also to Sergio Vicenzo for organising the Young Researchers event. It is always good to catch up, even if we seem to become slightly less “young” at every ION conference!
I hope to see many of you again in Orlando next year.
