&lt;p&gt;I’m excited to attend ION GNSS+ 2026 in Orlando, which will be my first ION conference since completing my Ph.D.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I’ll be presenting my postdoctoral research:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;“Toward an Asteroid-Based Autonomous Navigation Framework for Deep Space CubeSats”&lt;/strong&gt; in the &lt;strong&gt;E2b: Novel Paradigms in Navigation&lt;/strong&gt; session.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This work explores an autonomous absolute navigation framework using asteroids as natural navigation references, with the aim of investigating the future feasibility of asteroid-based navigation for deep-space missions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I’m looking forward to meeting colleagues in the ION community and discussing current topics in LEO PNT, RTK, autonomous navigation, deep-space PNT, and small-spacecraft missions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am deeply grateful to Prof. Changdon Kee, whose pioneering Ph.D. work on Wide-Area DGPS (WADGPS) laid the groundwork for what became today’s Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS). His invaluable guidance has shaped my growth as a researcher, and I also extend my sincere thanks to all my colleagues for their companionship and support throughout these years.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In particular, I wish for the successful launch of SNUGLITE-III CubeSat scheduled on November 27, 2025. 🚀&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This October, I begin my new chapter as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Liverpool, joining Dr Stefania Soldini’s research group. My research will focus on Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) for asteroid missions under the #REMORA project.&lt;/p&gt;

SNUGLITE-III is scheduled to launch aboard the Nuri rocket from the Naro Space Center in late November.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The CubeSat features:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The first in-orbit demonstration of GPS RTK relative navigation&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Autonomous rendezvous and docking without propulsion&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A GPS-based attitude determination system designed for CubeSats&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Grateful to take part in this mission advancing the frontiers of CubeSat technology. Still a long road ahead, but each milestone brings us closer to space.&lt;/p&gt;

With profound gratitude for the support and knowledge I have gained, I remain steadfast in my commitment to the principle of &amp;ldquo;learning and sharing with others.&amp;rdquo;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My doctoral dissertation, &amp;ldquo;Precise GPS Relative Navigation for CubeSat Rendezvous,&amp;rdquo; delves into the development of RTK-based relative navigation techniques, achieving centimeter-level accuracy for GPS in LEO. This work has successfully demonstrated the application of these advanced techniques to CubeSats. The algorithms, meticulously coded in C within a Real-Time Operating System environment, highlight my proficiency in embedded systems, ensuring rapid computation and reliable centimeter-level GPS-based relative navigation. These innovations will be demonstrated in the SNUGLITE-III CubeSat mission, scheduled for launch in November 2025. Currently, I am fully dedicated to finalizing the SNUGLITE-III project to ensure its successful execution.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As I look towards the future, I am actively seeking a postdoctoral position starting in mid-2025. I bring demonstrated expertise in the following areas:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;GPS Applications in LEO&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;RTK Relative Navigation&lt;/li&gt;

This design replicates all the functions of the Gomspace Interstage GSSB. Since our team only ordered a limited number of Flight Models (FM), an EM was necessary for testing purposes, as additional FM units were too costly. To facilitate rapid development, I designed the EM to be Arduino-compatible and implemented all protocols to match those of the Gomspace FM. Since this panel does not need to operate in space, it is ideal for flight software testing.&lt;/p&gt;

I had the honor of presenting on the topic &amp;ldquo;Verification and Hardware Implementation of Single-Frequency RTK-Based Precise Relative Navigation for SNUGLITE-III CubeSat.&amp;rdquo; This presentation extends the discussion from the paper presented at the ION GNSS+ conference last September, focusing on performance verification using real-world data. Excitingly, our research team submitted the results to ION Navigation, and it&amp;rsquo;s currently under review, showcasing the potential for cm-level relative navigation using a cube satellite with a single-frequency GPS receiver.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A definite highlight was the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of individuals at the conference, especially during the engaging Student Social Event at the ION conference. It provided a platform for insightful interviews with fellow students, enriching my overall experience.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although my initial plan was to attend ION GNSS+ 2024, unforeseen circumstances led me to participate in IAC 2024 in October. Unfortunately, our team will be divided among labs, and other students will represent us in our meeting with the ION Society. To those attending IAC 2024, I eagerly anticipate connecting at the small satellite-related symposium, where I&amp;rsquo;ll be presenting my findings.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the SNUGLITE-III project, one of the main focus (to reduce budget) was on the fabrication of the solar panels for the CubeSat. I was solely responsible for the entire process, from PCB design to fabrication. Using Gomspace products as a benchmark, I ensured that all the solar panels were compatible and could integrate seamlessly with the system. Additionally, I verified the functionality of the panels through vacuum testing and solar simulator experiments, confirming that they performed as expected.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This was my first time attending the ION GNSS+, and I was honored to be recognized for my work. My presentation was on a topic that I am passionate about, and I was glad to have the opportunity to share my research with a wider audience.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I received a lot of positive feedback from attendees, and I was able to connect with many people who are working in the same field. I am grateful for the opportunity to have attended this prestigious event, and I look forward to continuing my research in the field of GNSS.&lt;/p&gt;
